Team Meeting, Art Meeting, Textures, Concept Art
    
    This week I attended two different meetings discussing the level design and cleaning up the overall story idea. I helped discuss some concepts of how to develop the story and the environment. I also listened to my team about changes in the use of the characters and where I can be of use. It was decided that since the characters may be used in alternative ways and are not completely important as of this moment, that I focus on helping with textures and level concept art. I also conducted a playtest for this week.

What Went Right:

    I believe that the meetings were very productive this week and that the team really defined what the story should resemble. I think it went well dividing up the tasks and I am very grateful that there will be an art lead, Malcolm.

What Went Wrong:

    I wouldn't say anything in particular went wrong this week, maybe a lack of communication, but I feel guilty whenever I don't have a lot of work to do. Perhaps its just a personal issue, but I always want to do more for the team. However, I feel restrained by taking twenty credits and not being skilled in much other than 2D design. I can't even try to help with 3D modeling since Maya does not work well on my laptop. I hope that in the next weeks I can apply myself to more tasks and help out the team in alternative ways be it in formatting the presentations or anything. Having a larger team is a double edged sword because in one way it is great to have more artists on the team to balance the work load but alternatively, I am still stressed about whether or not I am doing enough for the project. 

Plans for Next Week:

      I plan on working more whatever the team needs of me. I want to help Jake and Ethan maybe just sketch out the possible levels and environments. I want to help with creating more seamless textures for the bots and environment assets. I hope that even if they are not all used or needed, maybe they would be helpful for the team. I also am planning on participating more in the discussions and in discord. I tend to be more of a listener and feel nervous about talking over someone or cutting someone off. The overall plan is to talk to my team and ask them what things they need me to do and I will make sure to help them with anything.
